What happens if my tenant doesn’t pay the rent?

No property manager can guarantee you against the worst. However at Thomson Currie we take every possible step to protect your asset and maximise the yield of your investment. We thoroughly check and document the references of prospective tenants as well as running credit checks. This combined with our own experienced intuition prior to the start of a tenancy helps prevent problems before they have a chance to start.

As an internal process we measure our performance in terms of rent collection. We understand the importance of this to the financial peace of mind of all our clients, large and small. If we have a problem with a tenant we will let you know – our clients need information and we aim to provide it- good or bad.

Regular inspections mean we know what condition your property is being kept in. Because of our tenant selection process we seldom have problems, but if we do we act on them –fast.
